Lord of the Rings Online in 2008
What is going to be added to Lord of the Rings Online in 2008? Recently the developers have been giving us some insight into the direction of Lord of the Rings Online.
The developers of Lord of the Rings Online will be focusing on smoothing out the leveling curve. I guess that there have been some complaints about this. In line with smoothing out advancement, LOTRO will be adding more solo content. This is a great addition. Every MMO needs to have solo content. Sometimes you don't want to have to find a group. Sometimes you just want to be able to grind mobs. By adding more solo content, I think that Lord of the Rings Online will be much more fun to play.
The LOTRO developers will also be adding more end game content. Lotro will focus on adding new raids and activities for these experienced players. This is standard for MMOs after launch.
Lord of the Rings Online will also release book 12. This new book or expansion will increase character customization, help with class balancing, and add functionality to monster play.
It sounds like 2008 will bring a lot of cool features and improvements to Lord of the Rings Online.

January 18th, 2008 at 1:06 pmI find the solo content is pretty much the only thing I do. Sounds crazy but I enjoy the world because it so big, but I’m a very anti social gamer. I just want to be left alone half the time. Waiting around for people dodgy communication. Not my idea of fun!

February 10th, 2008 at 9:01 amI started on LOTRO, but ended up giving up on it – the “fun factor” just wasn’t there for me.
I then played WoW for the first time and am still playing it 7 months later – WoW seems to require less time invested into it? For me it sure seems that way.

June 16th, 2008 at 3:51 amhey HI ,The post is really good.On ne peut rien demander de plus à ce coffret; il a tout : il est complet du point de vu contenu et fidèle à l’esprit de l’oeuvre de Tolkien dans son esthétisme. Une vraie réussite ! This is a must have for anyone who enjoyed the lord of the rings.
I can only compare watching lord of the rings to a really uncomfortable car journey or plane journey..time slows, your mind wanders and eye lids become heavy… buy this for someone you hate. Rubbish in the longest most rambling way… why oh why do people love these … utter utter rubbish. Yes the effects and sets are stunning but at the end of the day that does not make a good post. -

July 28th, 2008 at 12:24 pmI think we have to thank all the imagination used by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien in his stories ….. genuine masterpieces of literature …. processed in big movies and games for us:)
