I have always thought that this would be an awesome activity for me to do with my children. I really think that my four year old daughter and two and a half year old son would love to plant and grow their own vegetables and flowers in our kitchen.
I don’t know if you have seen these in a store, but the vegetables that these aeroponic gardens produce are amazing. To just name a few, you can grow tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers all year long. I am always thinking about what I can do with my kids. I really think that they are going to learn a lot from this activity.

This is really a great idea…thanks for the link. I would think this would be great for anyone, but especially kids. I have three kids, and all three (even the two boys!) would love to watch everything grow. Plus, you get the benefit of eating it later!

This is a great offer. I have been wanting to try these since I love to cook and would love to have fresh herbs all year long. I think it would be neat to just grab the one I want out of my garden in my kitchen.
If your not into the hobby then these are definably the thing to have. Specially for the winter. However if your into the hobby then its much more enjoyable to build your own. The nutes are kinda a hassle but you can buy some good all in one nutrients

I think your kids can learn responsibility by learning to take care of a plant. Not only that, they can also learn where our food comes from
