Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard Review
The Logitech G19 gaming keyboard has recently been released by Logitech. This G19 keyboard follows a long tradition of great Logitech gaming keyboards. In fact, I am currently using the G11 gaming keyboard.
Logitech keyboards are my favorite keyboards for gaming. My Logitech G11 has so many programmable keys that make it the perfect tool for PC gaming. But, the Logitech G11 has some drawbacks. Luckily for gamers Logitech fixed a lot of these drawbacks in its G15 gaming keyboard. Now, the release of the Logitech G19 gaming keyboard there is a lot of expectation for an even better Logitech gaming keyboard.

Now, for my G19 gaming keyboard review. This keyboard carries on the LCD display of the G15. The LCD screen can display key gaming information like which gun your are using and how much ammo you have left. For an MMORPG player like myself, I like to have my player stats displayed on the LCD screen. As you can see in the picture below, the screen size on the G19 is very large.
The next best feature of the G19 is its programmable backlighting function. You can change the color of the keys to match the color of your other computer components. This is a pretty cool feature that I have not seen in other gaming keyboards.
The G19 keyboard has 12 programmable macro buttons . These buttons make it very easy to set up your keyboard to be the ultimate gaming accessory. I list to set up macros to perform complex series of moves.
All in all, the G19 keyboard is a great keyboard for gaming. I love my G11, but am thinking about upgrading to the Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard.

February 8th, 2009 at 5:00 amI am looking at buying a new mouse and keyboard for my future gaming rig. Like the reviewed keyboard, I would want an LCD to get a readout of important information with macro customization. I also like the backlit keyboard with the ability to change the color; I haven’t read about many keyboards that allow you to change it. I’ll keep this keyboard in mind in the future.

February 13th, 2009 at 9:06 pmI have this keyboard and the programmable back lighting is a really cool feature. There are many color options to choose from and it just looks really good.
It is also great for playing games like BF2 because it shows you how many bullets etc you have left on the lcd screen.
