New Free Online RPGs
Two previously released mmorpgs became free online rpgs this week, Archlord and Sword of the New World. I have had no interest in playing Archlord, but I have wanted to check out Sword of the New World. Sword of the New World has been free to download and free to play up to level 20. I find it fascinating that more and more mmorpgs are becoming free online rpgs.

July 27th, 2008 at 2:49 pmI haven’t played archlord yet but I love Sword of the New World. It has amazing graphics and you get to control three characters at once.
Also, I think its free for ever now, not just first 20 levels but I’m not 100% sure on that/

February 13th, 2009 at 9:10 pmI have played sword of the new world and would say it is an ok game. It is free and you should give it a try. You are able to control more than one character at a time which keeps it pretty interesting.

Well, if its not a AAA title (like EQ2, WoW), it can’t really compete UNLESS its “free” (+microtransactions.)
