When most gamers think of top gaming systems, they automatically think of Alienware computers. Why? Because this innovative company has built a name for itself by providing the best gaming systems on the market. Their recent acquisition by Dell doesn't seem to have slowed them down any.

A few days ago, we reviewed the Alienware M11x, which may well be the best (affordable) notebook gaming system around right now. That may not cover everyone, though, so we here at MMO Explorer had to look at other models to find the best Alienware computers.

Likely the best desktop gaming system in Alienware computers is the Aurora ALX. It's the fastest computer on the market today and just released within the past month. The core of the ALX is an Intel i7 975 Extreme which propels the best Alienware system up to 3.6GHz. Dual graphics from ATI's Crossfire and NVIDIA SLI both do incredible HD while the 8mb of cache and hyperthreading on the motherboard while a top liquid CPU cooling system keeps it all running at optimum.

Of course, no Alienware computers is complete without customizable LED lighting effects and killer style.

Looking at Alienware computers in laptop systems, the best Alienware computers are coming very quickly. The M11x is probably the best gaming value for performance and a new rendition of that system is coming in a couple of months. So while current notebooks in the Alienware computers line might be the best, they won't be for long.

Also coming this year is the much-anticipated mega-box from Alienware called the Area-51. This gaming PC will hit streets very soon and has a massive 6-core processing unit from Gulftown. Two Radeon HD 5970 GPUs grace this one and a self-contained water cooler and built in battery backup to keep it going.

Great stuff going on at Alienware!

It's that time of year when the roundup of the year's best gaming notebooks are done. Just about all the manufacturers have come out with their latest by now, aiming for the holiday purchasing crowd. So this is MMO Explorer's roundup of the 2009 best gaming laptop offers.

For our lineup, of course, we're assuming fully-loaded machines with the top options available. Since they're new, reliability and other things can't be considered, so we're looking purely at power and performance. With all of that in mind, our favorite gaming notebook 2009 is...

The Toshiba Qosmio Gaming Laptop. It was a close call, though, with the Alienware M17 coming in close behind. What pushed the Qosmio up over the M17 for the best gaming laptop 2009 was its superior processor. That's because the Qosmio is nearly a year newer than its Alienware competitor.

The price tags are roughly equivalent, but the Qosmio has better performance and probably better graphics (though that's a little harder to quantify).

So the Toshiba Qosmio (fully loaded) wins our pick this year for the 2009 best gaming laptop.

What about those on a budget?

Well, for you who can't afford these top-of-the-line, high-priced systems, we give our budget gaming notebook 2009 pick to the Dell Ultra Mobile Inspiron 15z Laptop. This system has everything the gamer needs to play all but the most cutting-edge games with only the graphics card really holding you back, if at all. At less than half the price of our top pick, this is definitely a budget gaming notebook 2009 pick.

As a bonus, our savings link to get $100 off the Dell Ultra Mobile Inspiron 15z laptop is still active, so you can click that to save even more!

This machine is still a favorite amongst online players because of its power, mobility, and durability. The Dell Latitude d630 is something that we here at MMO Explorer have been thinking we should review for quite a while now.

This laptop very reasonably priced, so it's within the budget of most gamers and PC users. The d630 Dell Latitude has most of what you'll need if you're into online gaming like MMOs.

It's a decent, though not special, looking machine with a built-in wrist-rest, average-sized keyboard, and a touch pad mouse. It has an Intel Cure 2 Duo 2.0ghz processor (800MHz FSB, 4mb cache) and an Intel GMA X3100 graphics card. Most Dell d630 models include Windows Vista Business.

The display on the Dell Latitude d630 is a WXGA+ and it comes standard with an 80gb hard drive and 512mb of memory. Obviously, you'll need to consider upgrading at least the memory (which maxes at 4gb). Still, at the price of this machine, it's worth the extra hundred or so to put in more RAM.

The Dell d630 includes four USB 2.0 ports, a Firewire port, headphone jacks, a VGA-out for an external monitor (does not dual monitor, though), and the rest of the normal ports including 1 PC and 1 Smart Card slot. Like most Dell systems now, it is configured to fit into one of their popular docking stations as well.

The battery is a 9-cell 85WHr, which is impressive for such a low-cost machine and will provide around an hour and a half of gaming without tethers (up to 3 hours of regular PC use).

Overall, this is a great, low-cost machine for the MMO gamer going to college, looking for a portable, or a second system for multi-boxing. Definitely worth checking out.

The Dell XPS One has been out long enough now that it's been well-vetted and tried. This means everything that's likely going to be wrong with it has probably been discovered, so we here at MMO Explorer thought we'd test drive the all-in-one Dell XPS to give you a review.

First, it's an all-in-one system, so everything is in the monitor and it includes a cordless keyboard with touch pad, so no awkward mousing from afar. When most people think of all-in-one PCs, they think of the Apple iMac. Well, users who've had the all-in-one Dell XPS are willing to say that it beats the iMac in style and design.

It's definitely a sleek, clean, simple-appearing machine, but the Dell SPX One computer packs some punch too. It's basically a 20-inch wide screen with all of the stuff you use, like USB plugs, DVD tray, and so forth hidden behind it. It's so thin that most people will assume you've hidden your computer tower somewhere and it's wired to it.

Another cool feature that the Dell XPS One has that you won't see on a Mac is the user-service panel on the back. That's right, you can open this one up and ad extras like more RAM. That makes it a true gamer's PC, though it doesn't have another drive bay. It does have a replaceable graphics card, though, so if the ATI Radeon HD 2400 isn't good enough for you, you can replace it with any MXM card. Big bonus!

Obviously, the Dell XPS One doesn't take up a lot of desk real estate and it's got great power with the Intel Core 2 processor in it (speed depends on which option you chose on purchase).

If your gaming has to play second fiddle to your normal work and office tasks, then you probably always feel cheated by your PC. Luckily, someone has thought of that and we here at MMO Explorer are glad they did.

The Systemax Venture desktop PC is a hybrid office-gamer system with a lot to offer in both directions. It can handle digital photo editing, multimedia, spreadsheets, and all the other business tasks you might be doing. The Systemax Venture also does gaming.

With a powerful Intel Pentium 2.4gGHz dual-core processor, an MSI G31 motherboard, and the huge 320gb/7200rpm SATA II drive, it's got the power and storage. The 3gb of DDR2 is up to snuff and the Systemax Venture PC includes the peripherals to match.

A 20X DVD/RW dual layer drive does music, DVDs and more and the awesome Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 will run any MMO with ease. The front of the case features all the jacks you need, so the Systemax Venture PC is ready to rock with headphone/mic jacks, USB 2.0 plugs, and all the rest.

What's the best part? Besides all the killer Systemax Venture desktop PC gaming and office capabilities, these systems are 100% assembled and phone supported in the USA. Definitely a box worth considering!
Featuring the ultra-powerful AMD Athlon X2 dual-core processor, the Acer Aspire AX1200-B1792A desktop PC is a responsive performer. The processor is just the icing on the cake, though, with the rest of this machine's awesome peripherals. We're going in-depth, here at MMO Explorer, with the Acer Aspire AX1200.

The X2 from AMD sits in a great-looking Acer Aspire AX1200 case with slim, but mean looks. The huge 320gb hard drive and 4gb of memory (RAM) give Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit everything it needs to perform well.

They also give the Acer AX1200-B1792A plenty of storage for the Multi-in-One Digital Media card reader (built in), the CD/DVD burner and player drive, and more. Great capabilities with the NVIDIA GeForce 8200 graphics card make for killer gaming on the Acer Aspire AX1200-B1792A desktop PC too. The huge 22 inch LCD display doesn't hurt either.

The whole machine is topped off with ergonomic goodies like the four USB 2.0 ports up front, the headphone/mic jacks right next to them, and the HDMI port for awesome video all make it a top-of-the-line design. The Acer Aspire AX1200 is definitely up there for affordable gaming excellence.

The Acer Aspire AX1200-B1792A is definitely worth looking at if you're in need of a bargan MMO gaming machine with the power to get you online, in-game, and perpetrating some serious butt-whoopin.

The XPS 630 is one of Dell's best gaming PCs. And for a sub $2,000 gaming desktop, it is hard to beat. I say sub $2,000 because this PC normally sells for above $1,000. Only now can you buy it for under $1,000.

For $999 you can get a Dell XPS 630 with the following components.

Red or black case (I prefer the black, but I am a little conservative)

Intel Core 2 E8300 CPU. For only $50 more, you can upgrade the Dell XPS 630 to a Quad core Q6600. I think that this is a great deal.

Windows Vista Operating System is included in the price of this Dell gaming desktop.

2GB of DDR2 RAM memory. You can add more RAM at $50 per extra GB.

320 GB Hard drive. I really like this size.

This is really a great Dell XPS 630 sale. This would be perfect gift for any student as they go back to school this fall.

Dell is currently running one of the best gaming pc sales on the Dell XPS 420. This sale that Dell is running on the XPS 420 will allow you to save $450 on this best gaming pc. If you are in need of a new gaming pc this sale could be perfect for you.

Dell XPS 420 Review:

The standard Dell XPS comes with an Intel Core 2 Q6600 Quad-Core CPU. This Intel Quad-Core has 8MB of L2 cache, runs at 2.4 Ghz and has a 1066 front-side bus. This Quad-Core should be a very good choice in a gaming PC. However, the 2.4 Ghz processor is not the fastest for gaming. But, for any additional $100 you can add a Intel Core 2 Duo processor that runs at 3.16GHz. For a gaming PC, I think that this would be a good upgrade to choose for an extra $100.

The standard Dell XPS comes with 3GB of Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667 MHz. You can upgrade this RAM to faster RAM if you like. You can also add an addition 1 GB of RAM to bring you up to 4GB of Ram.

On of the best things about this Dell best gaming PC sale is that for the $1,199 price you also get a 19" monitor. This 19" monitor is a flat panel monitor. For $1,199, this is a great price for a Dell XPS 420 with a monitor.

Instead of highlighting all of the components, here is a list of the components that comprise the standard build,
